Thank you for visiting Encore. Please read our Events Rules & Guidelines carefully, as you must agree to the documents in order to have permission to use our Service. For better experience of our Users, it is recommended to follow Encore Events Rules and Guidelines.

 

Definitions

Throughout this Agreement, we may use certain words or phrases, and it is important that you understand the meaning of them. The list is not all-encompassing and no definition should be considered binding to the point that it renders this Agreement nonsensical:
“Agreement” refers to these Terms of Service;
“Organizer” means any User of the Service who organizes events, activities, interest groups, discussions, or other associated items as part of their use of the Service;
“Platform” refers to our website (www.encoredays.com) along with any other website, application, or service we provide;
“Service” refers to the services that we provide through our Site, including our Site itself;
“Site” refers to our website (www.encoredays.com) along with any other website, application, or service we provide;
“Encore” refers to our company, “Encoredays Co., Ltd.” and any associated subsidiaries or parent companies; our Site, Service or a combination of all or some of the preceding definitions, depending on the context in which the word is used;
“Encore Parties” refers to Encore, its officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, consultants, corporate parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, and other third-party partners;
“User” refers to anyone who uses our Service, including general visitors to our Site;
“You” refers to you, the person who is entering into this Agreement with Encore.

 

1. Event Posting Guidelines and Suggestions

Encore is an internet service platform that allows Users to propose events and activities and seek participation from other Users. Users who propose events and activities are the Organizers, and Users who purchase events and activities are the Participants. In order to protect your rights, please read and agree to this “Event Posting Guidelines and Suggestion” before creating an event.

1.1 Specifications

  • If the content of the events or activities published by the Organizer on the Platform violates any of the following prohibitions, and is reported or discovered, Encore will have the right to maintain the operation of the platform after the investigation is confirmed. If the events or activities organized by the Organizer violate the laws and regulations or seriously endanger the interests of the Platform, Encore has the right to directly take down the activities and has the right to explain the definition of seriously endangering the interests of the Platform. 
  • The Organizer will not be notified of any activities that are restricted due to violation of the regulations.
  • From the date of publication, this regulation is applicable to all events and activities on the Platform, so please pay special attention to the Agreement. 

1.2 Basic Information of Events and Activities

  • The name of the event and the cover image of the event shall not contain any content that violates the following regulations, including:
  • No cover image of the event.
  • 18+ prohibited words and content, bloody, violence and other contents.
  • Illegal direct marketing activities, such as trying to attract membership or subscribe to the enterprise’s own products.
  • Illegal gambling information. For example, the illegal establishment of entertainment venues or illegal entertainment behaviors.
  • Incomplete information about public activities, such as tests, incompletion, duplication, etc.
  • Any information that is illegal or easily questioned by Users, Encore  reserves the right to explain the definition of easily questioned by Users.
  •  Regarding different regulations of the tourism industry in different countries, it is not allowed to put up package tours, such as multi-stopping, including transportation and accommodation and itinerary) on the Platform.

1.3 Event Information

  • The content and information of the event must not be less than 100 words.
  • If the Organizer’s event is set as a paid event and Platform is used to handle the payment service, the content of all the information of the event on the website shall not include
  • The Organizer sets up its own registration page, uses other registration platforms or forms, and does not use any link or information of Platform for registration. 
  • The Organizer guides users to register privately through social software, including: official website, email, telephone, FaceBook, Instagram, LINE and other social software, including scanning QR code information. 
  • The registration and additional fee will be charged on Site. All paid event registration not through the Platform registration payment, but the user on-site payment, remittance payment and other ways to collect fees.
  • 18+ content words, including bloody, violence and other related contents
  • Illegal direct marketing activities, such as trying to attract membership or subscribe to the enterprise’s own products
  • Illegal gambling information. For example, the illegal establishment of entertainment venues or illegal entertainment behaviors.
  • Alcohol events that do not include warning signs such as “Do not drink underage” or “Do not drive after drinking”. 
  • If the Organizer puts in unauthorized pictures, videos or texts with disputed copyrights that infringe or endanger the copyright interests of others, the Organizer will be responsible for the subsequent liability. 
  • The Platform has the right to explain the definition of any information that violates the law and endangers the interests of the Platform.
  • The Organizer shall not use the free ticket activity to expose the information of the fee, but the User pays the fee on site or privately. If reported by the User, all the activities on the shelves will be subject to the penalty of the specification. 
  • After the event is posted on the Platform(or start selling), the event’s time and fee cannot be changed or altered. Please note that if the Organizer wants to cancel the event, the Platform will help refund the full amount to the User. The Organizer is responsible for each ticket *10% + the remittance fee of US $1 per refund order. If the platform finds that you repeatedly cancel the event, the platform will have the right to permanently suspend your account. 
  • If a User chooses to participate in an event and pays for the event through the Platform, the fee will only be collected by the Platform and will be remitted to the account provided by the Organizer after deducting the processing fee. The Platform will issue an invoice to the participant after the participant has purchased the event or course. 

1.4 Suggestions

1.4.1 Basic information about the Event

  • It is recommended that the cover image should include key information and highlights of the event. It is easier to catch people’s attention with a bright and well-designed visual.
  • It is recommended that the title of the event clearly and accurately describes your event, with no more than 30 words, which will create a good first impression of the event. 
  • It is recommended to confirm the correct address, time and cost of your event. 

1.4.2 Event Content

  • Suggested activities that are well illustrated, well laid out, and have clearly defined event information include:
  1. Description of the event
  2. Event date
  3. Registration deadline
  4. Event address
  5. Event fee
  6. Deadline for cancellation
  • These may increase Users’ willingness to participate.
 
The Platform reserves the right to modify or adjust any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement at any time permitted by law. Once Encore modifies or adjusts the content of this Agreement, Encore will publish the latest version of the content on the website and may publish, announce or notify the Users of the aforementioned modifications through web announcements, emails or other electronic means. Any modification or adjustment will be effective from the time of publication.
If you continue to use the services provided by Encore after the posting of the modifications, you agree to abide by the modifications to this Agreement. Therefore, please be sure to review this Agreement periodically to ensure that you are aware of all changes to this Agreement.

 

2. Event Purchasing and Usage Notice

  • Encore authorizes event Organizers to host events, activities, courses, classes and other related services on the Platform for Users. To protect Users’ rights, please read and agree to this Event Purchasing and Usage Notice before purchasing and participating in the events.
  1. The Platform is designed to provide intermediary services to help Organizers and participants to reach an agreement on events or activities, and matters related to events (including but not limited to event or course information, event or course prices, special offers, event or course purchase requirements, receipt or invoice issuance practices, receipt or invoice issuance practices, event or course cancellation procedures and consumer disputes) are subject to the provisions of the Terms of Use, except as expressly provided herein. (Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, the terms and conditions shall be determined by the respective Organizers.
  2. By purchasing an event or course through the Platform, you agree that you have reviewed and agreed to the Encore Terms of Service and event-related information. Please check the content of the order before proceeding to checkout. After the order is placed, you agree to the content and amount of the order and may not refuse to pay for any reason. If you pay by credit card, the cardholder and the enrollee should be the same person.
  3. You agree that if you need to return your tickets after purchasing an event  through the Service, you must comply with the relevant event cancellation conditions before you can proceed. Please apply for a refund in accordance with the refund deadline specified by the Organizer, after which no refund will be accepted and the full amount will be charged. A cancellation fee of 10% of the ticket amount will be deducted from the refund. Please refer to the “Event Cancellation Policy” for details.
  4. You should provide your real name, phone number and email address to ensure that the Organizer can verify your name. In order to ensure the security of your personal information, these three items of information cannot be modified. You agree that you will be responsible for any verification of your real name, mobile phone number and email address, and that you may not refuse to pay for the Service or request a refund for this reason.
  5. You understand that this Service is only for the sale of events, and that the Organizer is responsible for the content, quality, and rights of the event itself; if the event is cancelled, changed, or postponed for any reason, the Organizer will provide notice and regulations. 2.1 Event Cancellation Policy

2.1.1 Scope of Application

  1. If the event you purchased is using the payment service provided by the Encore (credit card payment is entrusted to Green World Fintech Service; ATM transfer and convenience store payments that are entrusted to KGI Bank, the rest are not included in the Service scope), it means that the event is processed by Encore according to the Event Cancellation Policy.
  2. If you have ordered an event that has not entrusted Encore to handle the cancellation process, please contact the Organizer directly.

2.1.2 Refund Policy

  1. Please apply for a refund according to the cancellation deadline specified by the Organizer. Please read the instructions on the page at the time of purchase.
  2. If the event you purchased is using the payment service provided by the Encore platform (credit card payments are handled by Green World Fintech Service; ATM transfers and convenience store payments that are entrusted by KGI Bank, the rest are not covered by the Service scope), it means that the event will be handled by Encore in accordance with the Event Cancellation Policy, please refer to the following section for the cancellation policy.
  3. If you have ordered an event that does not entrust Encore to handle the cancellation process on your behalf, please contact the Organizer directly for the relevant procedures.
  4. A cancellation fee of 10% of the amount requested will be charged for cancellation within the deadline.
  5. No refund will be given after the refund deadline.
  6. Refund method: If you choose to pay by credit card at the time of purchase, the refund amount will be refunded to the original card; if you pay by ATM transfer or convenience store payments, the refund will be made to your designated account. Refund amount = cancellation amount – 10% service fee.

2.1.3 Event Cancellation Procedure

  1. Please login to the Encore account of the applicant.
  2. Find the event you signed up for and click on “Withdraw from Event” on the event page

2.1.4 Event Refund

  1. After confirming that the withdrawal application is eligible and that the payment information is complete, follow the following procedure to make the remittance.
  • Online Payments (e.g. Credit card)
  • Refund applications confirmed by the 15th of each month will be processed on the 16th of that month; cancellation applications confirmed by the 30th of each month will be processed on the 1st of the following month. Depending on the operating procedures of each issuing bank, it generally takes 10-15 working days for the refund to be credited to your credit card account. Please note that the refunded amount may appear on your next credit card statement.
